01. Please introduce the band, and tell, what is the most important
thing to know about the members of it.

Rod:
GEMINI FIVE are four(4!) determined individuals whom by faith got to form the most spectacular and entertaining crew of gangsters who happens to create great music as well. We simply play and do what we want to hear and see for ourselfs. Take some of the toughest ingredients from the 80's and some of what's happening today, put your own stamp on top and you end up with GEMINI FIVE. We're not a nostalgic band, we're not bringing the 80's back! For Christ sake, it's 2006!

Gemini Five was born on July 21st 2001.
...AND THE REST IS HISTORY...

The members of this band IS the band;

Snoopy - Guitar & vocals
Slim Pete - Drums
Hot Rod - Bass & vocals
Tins Star - vocals & guitar

02. How can you typify the music that you play?
Rod:
Flamboyant-In-Your-Face-Cum-Hardrock.
Something for everyone to dig into.
One foot in the 80's cool music and bands and the other
in what's up with todays modern sound and technology.

03. What is the difference between the starting group and the group of
today, in music and temperament? Which is the most important?
Rod:
We still keep the same edge of how we approach ourselves and our audience.
We kill and leave no prisoners :-D
Acually, we're back to where we started with creating and writing songs
which we all love and cherrish and we do play the music we love and
no other bands can. After 5 years we can still appreciate
what brough us together in the first place :-)

04. Every member of the group is working on the musics, lyrics?
Rod:
Yes. All the members is pretty much involved in the process.
Tin's writing mot of the lyrics still, though and Im
doing most of our design.
This time (next album) all the members bring all their
efforts to the music and graphics. Everything is taken under concideration.

05. How long do you practice before a concert?
Rod:
Practice?? Practice is for musicians, we're Rock&Rollers...
We never practice! We ROCK!!!

06. Please, tell me something of how a typical G5 rehearsal and how often?
Rod
Just did! Whenever we feel like. Sometimes all day long sometimes
weeks inbetween. Reahearse is neccasary tho, to be as great as we are :-D

07.What was the best and the worst thing that happened to you on
the stage?
Rod:
I dont really thing this is sucha bad thing but
others might put this as "worst thing".
I can tell you a funny story from our tour in Europe in 2004 when we were supporting Hardcore Superstar;
- On the very last show in Haarlem, Holland, the guys in HCSS and the crew put some black grease on to my microphone's black foam cover.
Now, the grease from the microphone smeared out on my upper lip from singing
in the microphone and made this Hitler-looking mustache on me…
So there I stood with my bangs combed to one side and pointing my right
arm straight out during the song “24/7? (me and Tin always do that during the chorus) and looking like a mad Nazi-wannabe, and I had absolutely no idea what
everybody was staring at. Not to tell how all the guys were laughing their lungs
out…
FUNNY like hell!

08. How was your debut on the stage?
Rod:
Really good performance. One thing tho, Gemini Five had our first gig
on September 12th 2001, so this was the very day after the
terror attack in World Trade Center. So we opened the show with a
song called 'Rock & Roll Inc.'(never released) and the first
lyric line is "Break down in New York City"...
Tin Star didnt feel very comfortable singin' that line.
It didnt occur to our other three until he later told us...
But what the heck, lifes goes on!

09. What do you think, which is your success in your private life andas
artist?
Rod: I dont like to discuss my private life with people I dont know.
I like to draw a line between the artist and the private person.
Sometimes it's the same person! My band is everybodys business.
our private lifes is nobodys business.

10. Which is your best and baddest habits? /Please, don't say you
havent bad habits. Nobody is perfect: J/
Rod:
I dont have bad habits, but that doesn't make me a perfect human
beeing anyhow. Besides, perfect is boring.

11. What do you like and what do you dislike on a girl? /appearnce and
spirit/
Rod:
I like kind and good hearted Daddy's girls... Hee hee.
Girls acting like boys and getting their kicks out by copying
bad boys doesnt appeal to me. I like clean women from the inside out.
Like actresses like Tèa Leoni, Robin Wright Penn, Helen Hunt, Salma Hayek
Nicky Hilton, - Love sporty women, like tennis ace Elena Dementieva...
-I'm not saying these women are 'clean', I just find 'em very attractive... :-P
Women should be involved in riding horses and so on...

What I dislike? - Women wearing outworn and dirty shoes!
Well, Angelina Jolie is the most horrorfying and unattactive
woman I ever can think of. I totaly understand that many people, (both
men och women) finds her very beautiful. But to me, the combination of
her past, deeds and looks make me just wanna call the mental institute to
collect her for good. All her efforts to be a good UN represent is just to
fill her soul with good deeds where she in the past failed. Nothing bad
with doing so, but I see through all that and her soul is pitch black.
Did I mention I dont like Angelina? Hee hee.

12. How would you discribe yourself on a blind date?
Rod:
I pick and choose the date of my taste, not of what other people
think I would fancy. I would never put myself into a situation
like going on a blind date. Ever. I know my taste and I know
Im pulling of dates myself, thank you :-) I never chat on the Internet.
I have absolutely no interest in waysting my time by a conversation
with people I have absolutelky no interest in. I like eye contact,
with people whom Im comfortable with.

13. What was your most kind and the most boorish attack from your fans?
Rod:
We have loads of kind fans. They have started fanzines, websites
fansclubs and so on. You are really kind and greatful and we are very
greatful to have sucja lojal fans. The bad parts or attcks'a as You say,
never comes from our fans. Its from negative, and narrow minded person.
These kind of people would attack anything that they fell is "wrong".

14. What is your plan for the future in your private life and as artist?
Rod:
Gemini Five will enter the studio for our third release, due for a
early next year release.. Also we'll do a sold out headline tour of
United Kingdom in November before we'll crawl back to load our batteries
for a total assault to the world with the next release :-D

15. Please tell me your average day.
I get up in the mid days and raise my hair then I rock!!!
Not everyday tho, sometimes You gotta find some time to
polish your shoes... Hee hee
