Just about everything from Neil Young to Slayer! I'm brought up on a lot of Swedish music through my mom. My first musical memory must be ABBA. I stood infront of the mirror, acting like I was a star in ABBA. hee hee. Then KISS changed everything!
-Being a bass player I still can't give a shit about how other bassists play well or not!!! I just love a mean, hard and nasty guitar!!! On a visual level I can't deny that Los Angeles have made me into what I am; a Hot motherfu**ing erected Rod!!! hee hee!

ROD left Sweden in the late
90´s and headed
for Hollywood to make the BIG time. He soon hooked
up with Johnny Jetson (former 'Space
Age Playboys' guitarist) and got
the job as the bass
player for Johnny's new band 'The Jet Set' (now 'Tattooed Millionaires').
One night opening for Beautiful Creatures ROD
got an offer to join B.C. as their new guitar player. Everything worked out
as planned but immigration problems made it impossible
for him to stay in the U.S. After 6 weeks and two gigs as BC's rhythm guitarist along side DJ Ashba, Joe Leste, Kenny Kweens and Anthony Focx, Rod packed his bags and headed east again.
Back home in Sweden ROD heard of this new band looking for a bass man. He was
determined to to join a band with the right looks and a cool rock&roll
performance. ROD is responsible for G5's artwork and logo designs. Never taking
the easy way out or compromising with the looks,
output, attitude or sound concerning the band.
In 2002 Gemini Five signed a deal with Swedish icon Calle von Schewen and his
new label Wild Kingdom /Sound
Pollution Distribution. The first single 'You spin me round (like a record)
was a 'top 20' hit in May/June 2003.
Their debut 'Babylon Rockets' was released all over Europe, Japan and South
America in October 2003. Since then they been touring non-stop all over Europe.
Next step is to keep pounding the world with yet
another great album and conquer all!
New album 'Black:Anthem' was released on September 2nd 2005 and entered the swedish charts at # 8 the very same week.
